we have an on-demand immersion water heater; not a big fan. have to get up in the morning, turn on the water heater, and then go back to bed for 20 minutes while waiting for the water to heat up.

Love the way the counters look. The matte of the soapstone is really appealing to me.

You mentioned oxidation….does the soapstone have iron or some other metal in it?
